final zine!

I will retake the photos when i get hold of a respectable camera.

These were the first set of few photos i took for the surveillance brief.

Other Zines i researched

Another zine i looked into:

Untitled
Petra Mrzyk & Jean-François Moriceau (Châtillon-sur-Indre, France)

“ Since their collaboration began in Nantes in 1998, Moriceau & Mrzyk’s wholly characteristic black-and-white drawings have enveloped walls, contorted around corners, appropriated and encompassed entire rooms and sprung to life as morphing hand-animated films and video projections. Across an extensive oeuvre that directly and intuitively twists the familiar into absurdity, Moriceau & Mrzyk have generated a unique imaginary realm that is as formally beguiling as it is conceptually complex. “

I really liked this Zine as to me it has a sense of humour yet bizarnes about it, it was very intresting to look at.

A zine i picked out from www.nieves.ch/catologue/zineseries the reason i chose this zine was the fact its simlistic, yet effective as it makes the idea of temprature (-10) seem intresting. Also chose it as its all illustration which is something i am looking into for my zine.

Next Came the zines!

As part of the second part to our community project we were asked to research zines. A zine is an abbreviation of the word magazine, it is usually a inexspensive self publication.

So the task was to take the community research gathered over the christmas period and create a zine from that information. next step RESEARCH.

Research: Community

Next came the resarch, which stemed from two interviws of community mmbers.
